V&A Carpets have been fantastic from start to finish, from choosing carpets to fitting. We had a large renovation project and we had to move fitting dates several times and added carpets to our order, and generally moved things around, Alex and Vicky were great about all this and really helpful and unflappable with all my last minute changes and our house now looks stunning definitely 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Can’t recommend highly enough. Provided a really helpful service with choosing the flooring and received samples within a couple of days. Kept in contact throughout the process and couldn’t do enough to help. Fitters were brilliant, really good guys and finished in half a day. Went above and beyond to help. I’ll be using V&A again without doubt.

I have had 3 carpet quotes recently and none compared to V & A Carpets. Their knowledge, sound advice and professionalism shone through. They arrived on time with a wide range of samples including underlay. They advised on a type of carpet to have by my front door to further protect my carpet. The carpet samples themselves were of a higher quality than the other 2 companies. 5 star service.

We had our entire house carpeted by V&A Carpets as well as Luxury Vinyl Tiles for our hallway and kitchen/Utility. The quality of the carper and LVT is absolutely fantastic. With the kids running round all the time we are really happy with the investment. We returned to V&A for our front door and rear Mats which were fantastic also. Would definitely recommend V@A, a great local business.

Bedrooms Carpets

Bedroom carpets, while mostly covered by the bed and other drawers and cabinets, are normally the rooms we use to get that deep luxurious carpet. This creates a wonderful feeling as you get out of bed in the morning, as it’s the first thing you feel when getting out of bed. The practical options would be a shorter tiler twist carpet, while a wool twist carpet or wool loop carpet would look better for longer. These aren’t as soft but the trade-off would be that they look better for longer in their natural shape, with the yarn returning back to its natural state much quicker. Sitting Room Carpets

Sitting Room Carpets or Lounge Carpets are generally a deep and more luxurious pile but that doesn’t remain true for everyone. It all depends on what you are looking to achieve in your home in terms of style, the feel, the practicality, or the texture you want in your sitting room. While the majority would say they want a softer feel in the sitting room, to get in between there toes to give them that comfort when on the floor as well, they are many more options and other issues to consider. The softer and longer the pile of yarn, the more likely it is to flatten, making it less ideal for the very busy rooms, where we walk through a lot. Wool twist carpets hold their shape better than man-made carpets, but man-made carpets are softer and easier to clean. Then you have Wool loop carpets which have a textured look and also keep their original shape well.
